Bless this Mess: Celebrating Imperfection

We can often get caught up, or even hobbled completely by, our own rosy and idealized visions of the sacred. Love and light and perfection can be part of the experience of the divine, but they are just that: parts--petals on a flower, facets on a gem, spokes on a wheel. Who could we be if, rather than ignoring our divine wholeness, we instead embraced the messiness, the complexity, and the imperfection as parts of our holy selves?
