About
ChIME educates and ordains interfaith and interspiritual leaders in New England and beyond. By offering opportunities for individuals to explore what it means to live with Integrity, Spiritual Presence, and Prophetic Voice, ChIME serves communities.
Founded in 2002, ChIME is one of thirteen recognized seminaries in the United States which currently ordains Interfaith Ministers.
In addition to Interfaith Ministry and Clinical Pastoral Education programs, ChIME offers a variety of in-person and online workshops, Open Houses, and Interfaith Gatherings to invite members of the public to join with us in community.
“ChIME provides a mindful home for the deep exploration of self. We investigate not only the heart of wisdom, but how participating in that search together can inform and inspire our everyday lives of service.”
Core Values, Living Practices
At ChIME, our Core Values are more than guiding words, they are living practices. They shape how we show up in community, how we listen, how we lead, and how we serve. Rooted in interconnection, humility, and a commitment to sacred presence, these values help us navigate the complexity of spiritual leadership with clarity, compassion, and courage.
Community Orientations
These orientations are intended to support a spiritually grounded, personally reflective, and communally accountable space where we each can grow and become, both within our own selves and in the company of other gentle seekers. Collectively, they hold and guide the larger ChIME community in all of our interactions.
