Vigil for Wholeness

As the U.S. election draws near, many of us are navigating a complex landscape of emotions—fear, anger, grief, disappointment, resentment, and hope. Led by ChIME staff, this gathering invites us to pause, come together, and explore these feelings through a variety of artistic expressions and creative activities.

We will create space to honor our individual experiences while bearing witness to one another with compassion and curiosity. Rooted in the recognition of our interconnectedness, we will acknowledge the grief of this fractured and fracturing moment while nurturing the possibility of something different: a home, a state, a country, and a planet where we can live together in all our complexity, with greater health, wholeness, and peace.

This is an invitation to set aside the need to agree, fix, or resolve, and instead to gather in our shared humanity. Together, we will make room for what is, imagine what could be, and cultivate connection, creativity, and hope for the world we wish to create.
