Interacting with Wabanaki-Maine history

  • 302 Stevens Road Portland ME United States (map)

This program is an interactive experience in which we engage in a story of particular events in the history of 400 years of colonization of the Wabanaki people by Europeans in this territory now called the state of Maine. This highly engaging experience requires our full participation in order to genuinely increase our understanding of colonization and what it means for current descendants and future generations; to reflect on what story we are writing for our grandchildren.

This program is scheduled for two hours and will promptly begin at 2 pm. To create a sense of connection, we are asking participants to keep their cameras on during the session if they are able.
