NATIVE AMERICAN SPIRITUALITY & SOCIAL ACTION with Sherri Mitchell, JD

  • Center For Grieving Children building 555 Forest Avenue Portland, ME, 04101 United States (map)

Where do our foundational beliefs come from? What are they? How can we become agents of transformation, starting at the deepest level and moving into wider circles? What points of convergence can we find within ourselves, and with those with whom we are in conflict? What vision of transformation can we co-create, recognizing that privilege exists, and not everyone has the same opportunity to transform his or her life. What is our responsibility to those mired in violence, poverty, and trauma? How can we together change the human dynamic so that all beings, not just some, can live better?

Sherri Mitchell, JD (Wena'gamu'gwasit) is a powerful Indigenous Rights, Earth Rights and Peace Advocate, who speaks across the U.S. and Canada, and publishes widely on social and public media.
